Just like anything you wear, your everyday jewelry will also need some care.
To maximize the life of your jewelry, we recommend following the care instructions below.
TIPS FOR EVERYDAY
Our jewelry is crafted from high-quality 14k gold vermeil or gold-filled materials, depending on the style. To keep your pieces looking their best:
- Avoid exposing your jewelry to moisture, including household cleaning agents and beauty products.
- Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, or washing your hands. You might forget to this a few times, but don't worry, this will not immediately damage the jewelry! Just aim to keep your jewelry dry to preserve its shine and gold layer.
Storage & Cleaning
- Take off your jewelry at night and store it to reduce exposure to air and natural skin oils, extending its longevity.
- Use your SPJ jewelry box for storage. Starting in 2025, we include an eco-friendly silica paper bag inside each box to absorb moisture and protect your pieces.
- To clean, gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, dry cotton cloth to remove dirt and oils.
